Back home from El Medano and I nearly fell off my chair when I cracked open Shoreham Windguru. Bonkers SW'ly windy every day for the foreseeable future and beyond plus waves! However there's always going to be a spanner in the works of a forecast like that and this time it was a nasty dose of Tenerife tummy that kept me housebound all day Saturday and most of Sunday as well. I eventually mustered enough motivation on Sunday to head to Worthing for 2.30pm but I sort of wish I hadn't bothered. Rigged 4.5, launched and straight away felt very ill. After a couple more runs I realised I had absolutely no energy in the tank so had to call it squits er I mean quits. Annoying that I missed out on one of the best weekends of the year due to sickness - had planned a trip to Pagham and am now gutted having seen some amazing pics taken there of cross-off wavey niceness. Ho hum well I'm feeling much better now and at least there's plenty more on offer this week.
